They likely don't need you, but may very well want you. I see it more now that other players just don't need me like they did back in 2000-04.They can pretty much handle all the quests and much of the content by themselves so why would they need me? Like you said, everything is run at breakneck speed with little or no chat whatsoever, so why bother asking other people? I play a couple of survival PVE games where it is nice to have others makes clearing faster and there is a little time to chat and work together, but for MMOs? I wasn't needed in ESO, GW2, BDO or any other in the past 10-15 years. I just look elsewhere for my own fun and enjoyment That's cool for others who find enjoyment with the games now. I've concluded that the genre has moved beyond me.
